Another web service implements ANS!
PayPal is one of the first websites that I’ve known to offer a “ping-back” on the event of a sale. The service makes a request to a URL that you specify and sends along parameters with details of the sale. SLExchange.com has been offering a similar service with the option to communicate with a URL that you provide, or a drop-box in-world. Apez.biz has jumped on the bandwagon as well recently with one of its beta programs. I was able to specify any object to receive messages rather than being limited to drop-boxes like SLX is. The most useful benefit from these boxes is the ability to log sales in one place. I wonder how long it will be until OnRez does this as well.
