Playing with Vacuum Tubes

Crap asked for some ideas to make his clocktower more oddly. One of my suggestions was vaccume tubes. He found some freebie lights on SL Exchange and started playing around.


I found that I could still modify is objects and grabbed a copy since it was full perms. I was able to find another object inside that looked like the old vaccume tubes that we were more familliar with.


After messing around for a bit, I was able to set the tube transparent and have a smaller tube inside. I set the inner tube to have a glow and emit light. It looked wild with the windlight client. The glow really adds to the effect of it all.


Crap talks about making each tube light up randomly to give it a better look and I couldn’t agree any less. I just hope he doesn’t get any bugs in the system.
