Working Solution for streaming audio
I was trying to find a way to stream voice chat from within world to a shoutcast server. I needed to record what I said as well as what other people would say. To do this, I needed to run an alt avatar on another computer so that both sides of the conversation can be heard. In addition, the software that I was using (SimpleCast) to record and stream audio to the server wasn’t capable of recording “what i hear” on some of my computers. I tried out 3 computers until I found one that worked. I believe that this is a feature on the soundcard itself that the others do not provide. Now my only concern is regarding how long my avatar may remain in-world without going AFK and eventually logging out Woodbridge (96, 96) - Dec 13, 2007 (354 days ago) by Dedric Mauriac Tags for this Snapshot3 addition afk alt audio avatar capable chat computer computers concern conversation eventually feature find found hear heard inworld logging long needed people provide record recording remain run server shoutcast sides simplecast software solution soundcard stream streaming voice woodbridge worked working world Leave a CommentYou're not logged in.
