Live Streaming within Second Life
I have been looking at ways to stream my second life experience live - rite into second life. I found a free driver VH Screen Capture that allows my desktop to be available as a webcam. After that, I found that a new culture is rising regarding livecasting. People use web cams to record their lives. Looks to be a cross between vlogging and video chat. I found many different services such as Ustream, Justin.TV, Blog TV, StickAM, and Veodia. So far Veodia shows the most promise, but it doesn’t want to see any video from my “camera”. All other services don’t have any problems detecting it via flash, but I can’t get a stream that works with Second Life. Veodia claims that it works with SL.
