First Meta - First Redundancy
I joined up with the First Meta card a while back as a merchant. It had a lot of potential provided that many people used it. The idea was simple. People could purchase your products on credit if they had a First Meta account. You would get your money and they would owe First Meta. I had setup an information display about the credit card and vendors to allow people either use the card or buy items direct. Over the months, the only sales I got were direct sales. Apparently no one was using a First Meta account. As a merchant, the service is practically redundant since everyone who is purchasing something from me already has the available funds. I could put the extra prims to better use.
