Getting tired of bugs

Getting tired of bugs

I am seriously getting fed up. I’ve lost one script to the asset servers a few months ago. Tonight, I discovered that another product I made has the same problem. I can see the script in the objects inventory. I double-click it and behold the famouse last words - “Script is missing from database” (yet it runs). Lindens in the past could not help when I filed a bug on the first time this happened. The only advice that I received was 1) run to the beta grid to see if it still has the script and 2) backup everything in the future. My efforts in backing up have failed. It is tediouse work that would take lots and lots of time that I simply don’t have with the current interface of Second Life.

I’m sorry to hear that. :(

I know that the Lindens feel they are doing the best thing for the business as they develop new “features”, but I am not sure that they remain as focused as they should be on the sustainability of the grid, Phillip Linden’s MI shirt/speech not withtstanding.

Sympathy is no help at this point, but that is all I can offer…. If they rolled back the island would the script reappear intact?
