Now accepting MetaCard
I was reading an article today regarding credit cards in virtual worlds. It went on to talk about MetaCard by First Meta in Second Life. I decided to try it out and registered as a merchant. Most merchants are located on the First Meta sim, but there is a public listing of other merchants through the website. I created a prim, named it, and set a price in the description. After dropping the item I wanted to sell into the contents, I added a script that was provided to me. I rezzed an administrative box that they also provided. From there, I was up and running.
