A new appreciation
Designing a robot avatar for a machinima idea of mine, I have found a new appreciation for people who build sculptures of people in SL. My wife is one of these people. I had not realized how much time went into them as well as the tedious patience to keep going. I am cheating at the process in using a posing stand and modeling from an avatar as a base to work on. The face is perhaps the hardest part of the whole process. Once all the pieces were in place, I still had to rework many small pieces to make it look ok. I am still not sure about it, but it will have to do.
