Dell not shipping Vista yet

I was playing around building up my dream laptop from Dell. I was a bit shocked when it came to choosing my operating system. The only options available were all Windows XP variations. Of course, the confusing bit is when you go to purchase online. For those of you who wanted Windows XP, the only options available are for Vista. The main problem here seems to be that the data in-world is not in synch with the website. What you build is not what you get. Not everything is old though. I’m seeing bits of new content here and there - mainly advertising the XPS line of systems. I’m drooling over a package that is just under 5,000 US$. The systems are pretty expensive. I need to find cheap+cool.
