Grist Mill
I started developing my gristmill a lot more tonight. I did some research on how waterwheels work and found different types. An overshot waterwheel has more of an advantage to transfer power with gravity and water combined and a flume can bring the water to it from anywhere. An undershot waterwheel usually needs a millpond for a constant and steady supply of water. I found how the gears work with with horizontal and vertical water-powered gristmills. I hadn’t known that there were horizontal ones before. I would like to have all the gears and the wheel animated and making sounds. If possible, I would also like to give people the ability to actually grind grain into flour.
