A new RAW island
I learned a few things about the RAW image format that Second Life lets you use for island data. With this one image, you have access to 13 different layers. You can edit your islands appearance with just one of them. The others are for zoning out permissions, such as allowing people to create objects, or dividing parcels and such. It took a few times to feel out where the land meets the sea and how much is too much when working with the heights. Eventually I got and island setup that represents my logo, has rivers so that I can seperate locations, has partitioned mountainlines to give privacy with each section, and has a nice area in the center with complete privacy and a nice beach.
