Acedia and I go virtually virtual
Torley blogged the other day about a program that makes panoramic images. She had a big one made for second life. I tried it out and took it a step further. I took a bunch of images, made the panarama, and then uploaded it to Second Life. From there, I created a sphere, hollowed it out and applied the texture. Then, you set the outside face to an alpha layer and make the sphere phantom. Then you just dance in your own little world! Nice for snow globes too.
