Okay, so you’re thinking that I just made one half of the drawbridge, copied it, and mirrored it on the other side, right?

Well, at first, yes.

But the right side is 22 primitives while the left side is 14.

The trick was to change the individual struts out and put in hollow squares. Each square represents two struts.

Prim savings for both halves is 44 - 28 = 16.
