walking the labyrinth

walking the labyrinth

from the notecard:

The Labyrinth does not take long to walk and you may enjoy taking the time to do so. It is a labyrinth in the style of a medieval circular pavement labyrinth (such as that at Chartre Cathedral) or “turf maze” and is a physical metaphor for pilgrimage and contemplation as you constantly approach and wind away from your goal.
